The Yellow Brick team conducted a mock licensing survey for a Southern California client during the week of October 8, 2018. Over the course of two, eight-hour days, a dynamic team led by Project Manager Ali Broders, walked through the new facility with hospital leadership, department managers, and frontline staff. The rigorous schedule consisted of thorough department walkthroughs, employee file reviews, and an in-depth question and answer session.
“The California licensing and regulatory process for hospitals is one of the most rigorous in the country,” said Yellow Brick President Kelly Guzman. “The process we use assists the facility in identifying potential issues before their survey and to feel confident about their Day 1 operations.”
Yellow Brick applies a hands-on approach to the regulatory survey process, encouraging facilities to begin planning years in advance in order to allow sufficient time to prepare the necessary documentation. With a team of regulatory experts in their arsenal, Yellow Brick consistently aims to provide the latest and the greatest tools and resources to clients. This has led to a successful track record with past surveys.
