Yellow Brick is thrilled to announce their partnership with Norton Sound Healthcare Corporation on the planning of their new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service line. During the week of July 23, Project Executive, Kelly Guzman, met with hospital leadership to review critical project milestones, tasks, and deliverables. Yellow Brick will be providing consulting services to the planning team including workgroup management, orientation and training, and Dress Rehearsal. Dress Rehearsal is a simulation exercise that provides users the opportunity to work in their new space, test new equipment and technology, and validate planned workflow.
“It was exciting to go back and visit Nome and all of the amazing people I worked with in the past,” said Kelly. “I’m looking forward to this next big step and seeing this project come to fruition for the community.”
Over the last seven years, Kelly has worked closely with the NSHC team on several projects, including the activation of the Norton Sound Regional Medical Center in 2013. This critical access hospital, located in Nome, Alaska, serves the city of Nome and the surrounding villages of the Bering Strait region. The new MRI service line is scheduled to open in early 2019.
