Yellow Brick would like to congratulate Torrance Memorial Medical Center on completing the Topping Off milestone for their Hunt Cancer Center project. Hospital leadership, board members, facility donors, and the construction team were all in attendance to view this builder’s rite. The commemorative last beam was signed with more than 70 signatures and more than 300 cancer survivors signed the facility’s banner.
Also referred to as a Topping Out ceremony, this milestone signifies the safe completion of the framing of the structure and a wish for continued good luck for the future of the building project. Keeping with tradition, the TMMC team placed an evergreen tree as a symbol of giving back on one side of the beam and an American flag on the other as a symbol of remembrance for the hard work and dedication of American steelworkers.
Yellow Brick is proud to be partnering with the TMMC team on this new two-story, 38,000-square-foot facility. The center will provide a personalized, patient-centered environment to meet the needs of the organization’s oncology patients. To learn more about the new project, click here.
